Art Museum
You are offered to spend a couple of hours among the treasures of Chernivtsi Art Museum. The exhibits will tell you about the development of art in Chernivtsi region in all its forms: from decorative applied art to the canvases of contemporary artists. Of great interest is the collection of icons of folk primitive style and icons from the old churches closed in the Soviet period. You will also enjoy the exposition of famous Bukovynian pysankas (painted Easter eggs) and woodcarvings.
