Sightseeing tour along Chernivtsi
We start our tour from the Railway Station and the oldest street in Chernivtsi - Henri Barbusse Street. You are offered to walk along the numerous quiet streets of our city, to see the legendary Turkish Well, St. Nicholas church, the famous house in the form of a ship, the City Hall, and the monument to Taras Shevchenko. You will be impressed by the most beautiful square in the city - the Theatre Square, the construction of which continued for forty years. Here you can see the Jewish Popular House and the Regional Theatre of Music and Drama (the copy of the theatre in Vienna). You may have a rest in the best park in Chernivtsi - the park of Taras Shevchenko, and after that walk along Olha Kobylyanska Street - the only pedestrian street in the city, where numerous cafes will offer you a cup of fragrant coffee. At the end of the excursion you will visit the National University (former Residence of Bukovynian metropolitans) and the Church of the Residence.
