Lake Lebedyn
The tour to the Lebedyn lake starts from the "Sheshory" sanatorium in the village with the same name, situated in Kosiv region. The length of the route is 7 km, it goes up to the height of 300 m and the distance is covered in 2-2.5 hours, if walking, and in an hour, if driving.
On the way to the sanatorium Sheshory, 4 km away from the road Kolomya - Kosiv, the spring Korovy falls into the river Pistynka. A road runs along it that makes it possible to go by a car of a jeep type if the workers of the forestry let you in through a barrier right behind the sanatorium. Another 6 km ahead, this makes a 2 hours' way, the road forks. The tourists should take the branch of the road that goes up. This branch is 1 km long. After 250 m there is a turning, but it should be missed. The tourists are to go forward up to the bridge, and only then turn right. There is a gas pipe with a lawn behind it. To reach the range of the peak Lebedyn, the tourists should cross the lawn and go past the ruined farm. When on the ridge one can observe glass-houses of Yablunytsya and Utoropy villages; then the road goes to the left and after a sudden turning lake Lebedyn meets one's view. It is situated in the hollow at the height of 650 m above sea level and its size is about 100x200 m. There is no fish in it and so it gradually gets more and more slimy and overgrown with sea-weed.
